Feed A Child Botswana strives to provide nourishing meals to children whose circumstances are beyond their control. Founded by The Pelsers, the couple met with Feed a Child, an NGO in South Africa which provide nutri-food to malnourished kids. They consulted with friends and came up with a team to work with to reach out to the vulnerable kids and the elderly. By the road, this feed comes from Feed a Child factory in South Africa. Feeding started rolling out on September 2012 at Place of Joy and Motse wa Tsholofelo pre- schools. These two schools were primarily set up to care for the orphans and vulnerable children. The services have since extended to places out of Maun village like Motopi where over a hundred children are receiving the nutri-meal. Some feeding activities are also taking place at Selebi-Phikwe and Gumare.
